Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus to Airdash Onto XBL and PSN in “Late October”

Fans of the venerable Guilty Gear franchise will be happy to hear that Andria Sang reports that the new console port of the lengthily-named Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus has been announced to arrive some time in late October for Xbox Live and the Playstation Network. This port has been confirmed as a port of the PS2 version of GGXXAC+, but happily the game will be getting updated via a later patch to the newer version named, bear with me now, Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus R. That’s the new arcade version that’s out in Japan on 20th September.

As this is an Arc System Works title, of course, the release date in Europe could be anywhere from parity with the Japanese release to the end of time itself. HitCombo has thus reached out to ASW Europe for comment, and will update this article if necessary.
